Kogarah Strategic Centre Master Plan

Georges River Council reviewing masterplan for Kogarah TOD growth
Kogarah is one of Greater Sydney's largest health and education precincts, anchored by St George Hospital. Following the Low and Mid-Rise and Transport Oriented Development reforms, Council resolved to review its planning framework and master plan the centre for additional housing and employment. This required a view on what the market would support and at what density development becomes feasible.
What We Did
Atlas provided land use and development feasibility input to the multi-disciplinary team led by CM+, informing the Master Plan's land use mix and density controls.
The Outcome
The draft Kogarah Strategic Centre Master Plan was publicly exhibited in mid-2026, with Council now considering public feedback before finalising.
