55-61 Atherton Road, Oakleigh is a large commercial site located in the Oakleigh Activity Centre in Melbourne’s Southeast. The landowner is seeking to progress a mixed use development on the site, comprising a 15-storey mixed-use building with 122 apartments and ground floor retail.

What We Did

To support the submission of the proposal to the Department of Transport and Planning under the Development Facilitation Program (DFP), Atlas was engaged to prepare an Economic Impact Assessment which modelled to economic impacts of the proposal during both construction and upon completion for the local Monash LGA economy.

The Outcome

A planning application was submitted to the Department of Planning and Transport in June 2026 under the Development Facilitation Program and was formally approved in September 2026.
